Also called ‘in-board’ or ‘board-in’ dog training programs, they allow the family to drop the dog off at our Taggs K9 location, to be completely managed and trained for a set period of time. The families get some training, too, because keeping any dog well-mannered is a team effort that requires a bit of dedication and consistency.
Eventually, everyone gets on the same page with well-informed management habits and correct patterned behavior through consistency. With ‘board and train’ programs, the trainers do most of the work to get things going in exactly the direction your family needs.

Rehab Retreat B&T

This program is for those dogs needing major behavior modification. Dogs with severe fear/anxiety or those who have bitten humans are commonly referred to this program for the best success. Your dog will specifically work mostly with our head trainer one-on-one under his tutelage for four intensive weeks of training. Leave it to the certified professionals while your doggie stays 24/7 at our private training location or in-home with one of our lead trainers for our 30 day board and train program. Your dog will learn a solid foundation of basic manners, loose leash walking, obedience, crate training, potty training, behavior modification, and socialization with other dogs. While you, the human, will learn how rules, boundaries and leadership can help your dog live a happy healthy life with you.

Our Most Intensive and Effective Dog Training Program
Boarding and training is the most intensive training program we offer. It takes the whole job of training your dog off your hands and lets your dog learn at our canine training center.
Who This Program Is For
We understand our clients can be busy and we are here to step in and train your dog when you can’t. This program is especially beneficial because we make the improvement very fast and work with you throughout the series to make sure the progress sticks when your dog goes home.

What Our Program Offers
Instead of locking your dog up or letting him run unsupervised all day, our board and train program is very structured to offer the best of both worlds. Each dog receives its own tailored training program, addressing specific issues, but also giving your dog its own space with toys and bedding where it can rest between lessons and play time.
We alternate rest time with mental and physical exercise including play and lessons. They get individual training and group exposure for socializing and distraction training.
SCOPE
Boarding & Training includes the following:
- Training sessions customized to fit your specific training goals
to accomplish obedience foundations, including:
sit, down, stay, come, heel, go to place, watch me, leave it - Customers will supply their dog food for their dog’s specific diet
- Walks I Outings I Public Access Lessons
- Playtime
- Overnight Boarding
- Bad behaviors addressed include: jumping, biting/mouthing, rushing doors,
reactivity to other dogs and much more - Social Skills
- A “Mid-Lesson” is included half way thought your dog’s stay, as well as a
“Go Home” Lesson at the end of the “Board & Train” program - Regular updates with photos and progress messages via our Taggs K9 App.
Requirements
Dogs must be up to date on all routine vaccines. We require a negative canine fecal test that is not older than 6 months old. In order to keep all dogs safe that are in our care, we accept a recent fecal test result from your veterinarian, or for your convenience, we now offer Fecal Testing through TaggsK9’s contracted diagnostic service. Puppies must be at least 4 months old and have their basic set of vaccines.
Safe & Clean Environment
We strive to provide a safe, clean and the most secure environment while boarding your dog overnight at our training facility in Las Vegas and/or the homes of our certified dog trainers.
We have a long term relationship with nearby veterinarians who are always on call to ensure the safety and health of your pet.
